How to find out the version of Jboss

  1. Open jboss/jar-versions.xml in an editor
  2. Look for jboss.jar
  3. the implVersion attribute gives you the Jboss version.

In 7.2.0 (probably in 7.1.3, too) this filename is now modules.xml, located here:

$JBOSS_HOME\modules\system\layers\base\org\jboss\as\webservices\main\module.xml
